Natural Farming with PKSF, Bangladesh
Heather House curated and organised knowledge exposure visit for Palli Karmi-Shahayak Foundation (PKSF), Bangladesh in partnership with Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA) and PRADAN. A multi disciplinary team from PKSF came to India, met experts, held discussions and visited field demonstrations on natural farming practices in India.
Exposure visit to brass cluster in Moradabad
Heather House organised an exposure visit for Economic and Social Development Organisation (ESDO) of Bangladesh to Moradabad Brass cluster. This was done in partnership with Handicraft Development Society. The team included field level workers, brass entrepreneurs and project managers from ESDO. They were introduced to the different stages of the value chain and the machineries required in each stage. They also interacted with artisans and machine suppliers.
Heather House curated the study tour for Knowledge Exposure visit for the PKSF team from Bangladesh for their visit to Karnataka for Agroforestry and to Andhra Pradesh for natural farming respectively in January 2024. In Karnataka they visited Belavala Farm in Mysuru and in Andhra Pradesh they visited RySS.
